| A race night is the perfect way to raise money for your cause whether it be a local sports team or a charity there is money to be made. My race nights consist of eight races (not always horses) and an optional 9th race where the horses are auctioned off on the night with a great prize for the winning owner(good money maker). We recommend when booking a race night you give a months notice as you will be sent a package on booking, consisting of race cards eight races and horses, posters for advertising and approx 100 postcard size flyers. Before the event date you will need to sell your horses and jockeys and get race sponsers. (Offer prizes,ie. wine, chocolate etc for winning jockeys and owners. Try and get these donated by local buisnesses for maximum profit but we can supply if need be: See prices and calander page for more details). We recommend you sell these at £2 each and £10 for race sponsers. This will generate £336 before the night even starts. Then on the night there will be a betting system where tickets are sold to punters. The money from each race will be split 50/50 with 50% going to the cause and 50% shared equally between the winning tickets. The optional ninth race works a little different, You will need a good prize for the winner to start with, then the eight horses are auctioned off to the eight highest bidders, the prize is then won by the owner of the winning horse. If you can't get your hands on a good prize i can supply a food hamper. Depending on the time of year it can be a christmas or summer BBQ hamper. (EXP.if each horse is sold at £10 each equalling £80 your hamper could be any size say £40 then £40 profit for your cause). Estimated profit for you after my fee will be a minimum of £200 if horses are sold at recomended prices and the prizes are donated. This would also increase if race 9 is included. My fees are taken at the end of the night so there is no initial outlay. The estimated minimum profit raised for a club is £200 but i will guarentee a profit of £250 for your club which could make my fee a little bit smaller. To book have a look at my free dates on my calander page, find a date that suits you. Remember to check your venue is free and try to give yourself enough time to sell your horses prior to the event.
